Nichole is a 2021 University of Iowa graduate with a B.A. in journalism and English on the publishing track, earning university honors and honors in the major with distinction. She maintains skills and experience in writing, design and editing for digital or print, as well as experience podcasting or guest speaking from the various newspapers and magazines she’s been involved with.

Currently, she works on the metro desk as a reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times and a contributing columnist for The Gazette as an insights fellow. You can find her previous work at the New York Times SJI, Off-Kilter Media, The Daily Iowan, Fools Magazine, VERVE Magazine, Quill and Scroll and more.
